Facilities

The Vicenza Institute of Architecture is located right in the heart of the city, in a historic building. The school has an extensive studio space, alongside meeting rooms, a well-stocked library and student lounge. Support facilities include a small computer suite with printing, plotting and scanning devices. The building also has an external courtyard where outdoor seminars and conferences can take place. There is a wifi connection in the studio, and a personal working space for each participant.

Student Accommodation

Student accommodation is in apartments located in the historical centre of Vicenza, within easy walking distance of the studio, the main piazza and the station. Each apartment contains 2-4 bedrooms, each with 2-3 beds, to which the students will be designated according to gender. The apartments are fully furnished and are also equipped with bed linen, bath towels and a washing machine.

Breakfast and dinner is included in the cost of the programme. Each participant will be provided with coupons for breakfast at Harry’s Bar, located next to the school. Each coupon covers the typical Italian breakfast of cappuccino and brioches, although additional or alternative items are available for purchase. Lunches or dinners will be at Ristorante Righetti, a typical Italian restaurant in the town centre serving traditional Italian cuisine.
